Great Blue Hole
A bucketlist destination if ever there was one, the mysterious Great Blue Hole is a giant sinkhole off the coast of Belize. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is 450 feet deep, and is full of interesting rock formations that attract divers every day, not to mention the hammerhead sharks and other marine life swimming around. A thrilling day trip from the mainland!

San Ignacio
Right in the heart of Cayo, this vibrant and lively town is where international travellers come to hang out because of it’s contagiously happy local vibe and decent budget accommodation. If you want to check out something incredible, visit the Green Iguana Conservation Project or go and soak up the local exhibits at the House of Culture.

San Pedro
If you’re looking for more of a beachy destination, then head over to cute and charming San Pedro. Once you’ve spent the day diving with parrotfish, or snorkelling in Shark Ray Alley, head back to the town for some tasty seafood and a drink in one of the beach bars.
